Birth certificates
If you would like to know more about your VW Karmann Cabrio's history, you can order a Vehicle Identity Certificate (Birth certificate) of your car direct from the Volkswagen AutoMuseum for a fee of €35.00 including postage.
VW have a record of every German built car. The certificate contains such details as original colour, date of production and destination market etc.

Just enter your name and the vehicle identity number (Chassis/VIN#) of your car onto the form and follow on screen payment instructions.
