Hello, I'm a new cabriolet owner living in the french Alps. I bought a 71 Californian Cab for my wifes birthday. I managed to find one that was made on the same month she was born.

Hello everyone, my fiancee and I are new to the site. We're very excited as take ownership of our first cabrio in August when she lands on our shores in Southampton. She's a pretty clean '66 from New Jersey. She'll be joining our '59 split screen next Spring for wedding hire so it'll be hidden away for a while! Not sure how much work needs doing but really looking forward to seeing her in the flesh!! :o)

Just saying hello to everyone, new to the site but have been into vdubs for years now. I have been restoring a 1302LS for years and has taken so long now due to lack of funds, house moves,illness and anything else that can get in the way! This could be the year, so I could be calling on a bit of advice from fellow cabrio owners. I have so far done all the work myself and have been repairing the hood frame just lately which has resulted in my first question on the technical section of the forum to anyone who might know about sizes of the rear wood bow, Cheers, Dave

Just a quick hello to you all. Im an old hand with beetles, but have recently got myself my dream - a cabriolet! She is in fantastic condition in terms of bodywork, but i have a fair bit of cosmetics to deal with - including the fitting of a new hood inner and outer! I shall post my pleas for help on the tech forum!
