Full membership with the "VWCOCGB" provides a number of benefits for its members, these include a full colour quarterly club magazine, Technical help with Restoration enquiries, Fuel Injection problems, Valuations, Special discounted rates with main parts suppliers including replacement hoods and associated hood parts, 'free' classifieds and wedding/car hire advertising on the website.

Insurance companies advertise in the club magazine offering very competitive rates of "Agreed Value" policies to our club members.
One committee member is responsible for "NOS & Parts" giving assistance in sourcing hard to find New Old Stock and reproduction parts. Hoods of the correct "original" design are sourced directly from Germany at a considerable reduction on current other main suppliers prices.
A number of social activities happen during the year an AGM weekend (virtually all of which is a social weekend apart from the short business meeting when the new committee is elected), convoy cruises at Show weekends and regional cruises, details are in the Magazine. A "For Sale & Wanted" facility is available via the classifieds section of the website - adverts will also appear in the club magazine.
We have a Club Shop where you can purchase Club and VW memorabilia and clothing. Listings of members hiring their cars for Weddings and those prepared to use their cars for TV and Film work is also offered via the website. We have a diary of National and International shows and events.
How To Join
If you wish to take advantage of the benefits listed above and below you must first become a full member of the VWCOCGB. You should register and then join by paying online (you must register first!) by selecting 'register' on the left hand menu or clicking the link below After completing free registration continue and make your full membership payment via the online payment options in order to join as a full member. Please allow 48 hours for your membership to be processed.

Association of British VW Clubs Benefits
The VW Cabrio Owners Club GB are members of the Association of British VW Clubs. This automatically means that Cabrio Club members are entitled to extra discounts and benefits.
RAC and AA Membership Discounts
You can obtain special rates when joining the R.A.C. or A.A. A specific 'Associated Clubs' RAC application forms are available to members, you will find the rates very competitive. Applications forms are available from membership secretary.
Insurance Discounts
You can get insurance discount through Footman James, Heritage and Chris Knott Insurance schemes. Leaflets are issued to all new members but in order to get the discount you will need to quote your club membership number (this discount is only available to 'full' club members). Insurance companies operating agreed value schemes do expect valuations by an official of the Cabrio club when agreed value policies are issued. The Cabrio Club does have valuation officers who can value your car (at conveinient arrangement for the valuation officer). Typically arranged at shows/events during the summer season.
